<h2>What is ETHTaipei Hackathon?</h2><p>ETHTaipei Hackathon is a series of technical challenges spanning three days of non-stop hacking, workshops, and coding.</p><p>Make sure to <a href="https://discord.com/invite/bVHFDWTzpQ" target="_blank">join our Discord</a> for more information on the hackathon, find team members, and chat with bounty sponsors.</p><h2>Who can attend ETHTaipei Hackathon?</h2><p>ETHTaipei Hackathon is targeted at creative minds with a hacker spirit (in the classical definition of the word). Anyone with a technical profile is welcome to apply, not only engineers (eg. web designers are welcome too).</p><h2>How are applicants selected?</h2><p>ETHTaipei Hackathon curators aim at selecting the best, most participative and motivated, programmers and creatives. For this they rely on what candidates fill in their profiles (their pitches and personal bios).</p><h2>How much does it cost?</h2><p>ETHTaipei Hackathon is free for all selected candidates.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Can I register our company employees in bulk?</h2><p>No. Candidates must register and apply individually (they are evaluated and selected individually too, see above).</p><h2>Can I bring a guest to the event?</h2><p>No. All attendees must apply to the event individually.</p><h2>I was selected but can't attend the event, what do I do?</h2><p>Please let us know. Spots are limited and it would be nice if another candidate could go instead (but no, you cannot choose who that candidate might be).</p><h2>When will the schedule be available?</h2><p>A detailed schedule will be available closer to the event, on our website</p><p><br /></p><h2>Will the talks be recorded?</h2><p>Unless the speaker states otherwise, every talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Is there food and beverages at the event?</h2><p>Food and drinks will be provided free for all attendees. There will be an assortment of snacks and beverages available.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Is there Wi-Fi at the event?</h2><p>Of course.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Do I need to apply to ETHTaipei Hackathon to propose a talk?</h2><p>Yes, you do. <h2><strong>ETHTaipei Hackathon</strong></h2><p>ETHTaipei is about bringing builders of the Ethereum ecosystem together. Depth first &amp; developer focused, it aims to provide a place to facilitate discussion on technical subjects so that we all learn and make progress in the space to build a better future for Web3.</p><p>There will be three days of hackathon and two days of conference talks and panels.</p><p>Hackathon: Apr 21 (Fri) → Apr 23 (Sun)</p><p>Conference: Apr 24 (Mon), Apr 25 (Tue)</p><h2>Goals</h2><p>The ETHTaipei hackathon is a three-day event where developers can compete for prizes sponsored by our partners. Participants will work together in teams to develop new blockchain applications using Ethereum technologies.<br /><br />The hackathon is free to attend and includes workshops and talks from industry experts.
