<h3>WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE CHALLENGE?&nbsp;</h3>The proposed challenge is the development of an application that utilizes [Telos](https://www.telos.net) Decide toolset. Telos Decide is a leading Governance toolset that can be applied to any organization and decision making. We are particularly interested in innovations that solve problems that exists in the current organizational, societal and economical environment, but we also encourage teams to develop bold ideas and solutions with a multidisciplinary approach. The teams have free hands in innovating their applications using Telos Decide engine. Some applicable domains are governance and decision making, defi, organizational stuctures and voting, but the toolset can be also used in other innovative ways as well. The goal of the challenge is to develop MVP or a prototype that will be deployed on Telos mainnet.&nbsp; WHO CAN APPLY / SUBMIT A PROJECT?Anyone can apply to this challenge: students, developers, engineers, data scientists, founders, startups, etc. You will need to form a team of 1 - 5 members and you can only submit one project. The participation in the Challenge is under the conditions of: - being any person on legal age and able to justify it with an Identification card.&nbsp; HOW CAN I APPLY / SUBMIT A PROJECT?&nbsp;You need to go to the <a href="https://taikai.network/telos-foundation/challenges/telosdecidehackathon" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Challenge Page</a> and register your participation clicking on the button &ldquo;Join Challenge&rdquo;. After you confirm your interest, in the challenge page you will have a button to &ldquo;Create a project&rdquo;. Add a name, a description and who will join you on this adventure. Then you can add a lot more content and improve this page to show how good your project is.&nbsp;Don&#39;t forget to click on &quot;Publish&quot; to have your project visible to the jury and organization and if you need you can do as many changes as you need until the submission deadline.&nbsp; <h3>WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES OF THE CHALLENGE?&nbsp;</h3><ul><li>Registration will occur between the 1st of September and the 30th of September at 23:59;&nbsp;</li><li>Project submission will take place from the 1st of September to the 4th of October at 23:59;&nbsp;</li><li>Project selection will occur between the 5th of October and the 9th of October;&nbsp;</li><li>Winners will be announced on 13th of September.&nbsp;</li></ul> <h3>WHAT ARE THE DELIVERABLES OF THIS CHALLENGE?&nbsp;</h3>Between the 1st of September and the 4th of October, you will have to publish on the platform, you Project, comprised of:<ul><li>Demo Video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo;&nbsp;</li><li>TAIKAI Project Description documenting all the technologies and the approach used to decode the bus;</li><li>Source Code Repository Repository access (open source is valued);&nbsp;</li><li>Screenshots, Diagrams or Slideshow Presentations.&nbsp;</li><li>Any other relevant documentation.&nbsp;</li></ul> <h3>WHO HAS ACCESS TO MY PROJECT?&nbsp;</h3>You, your team and Telos Foundation members have access to the full description and details of your project. Other users from TAIKAI can only see a small description of your project.&nbsp; <h3>HOW IS GOING TO BE THE SELECTION PROCESS?&nbsp;</h3>This selection process will be carried out by a panel of a jury composed by Telos Foundation members, as well as the participants of the challenge. Selection uses the following set of criteria: innovativeness, feasibility, workable product and presentation quality.&nbsp; <h3>WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY WHEN I SUBMIT A PROJECT?&nbsp;</h3>During and after the end of the Challenge, you will have the right to use and register the Intellectual Property resulting from your project (e.g. code, algorithms, documentation, etc.). The purpose is for you to build it in an open source way, so that the community and Telos Foundation itself might be able to help you further develop your project. Registration Period - 1st September - 30th September Firstly you and your teammates will need to register on http://taikai.network and register as an innovator on the official challenge page [here]. You can also start describing your project and add your friends to your projects.&nbsp; Participation Period&nbsp;- 1st September - 4th October This is the time to further develop your idea. At the end of this stage, the deliverables must be submitted on the challenge page as a project until 4th of October 23:59 pm UTC Time. You should provide all the project materials and a succinct description that clarifies all the projects&rsquo; purpose to meet the challenges proposed. Upload images, screenshots, videos, diagrams to help the judges to evaluate your project and increase your chances to be the winner. If you have any questions regarding the competition, please send an email to support@taikai.network explaining your issue. We are here to help you on this journey.&nbsp; Judgement Period - 5th October - 9th October This is the period that our selected group of juries will assess the delivered project submissions and vote for winners following the evaluation criteria defined on the &ldquo;Judging Criteria&rdquo; section. Each Judge/Backer will have KAI to back his favorite projects after evaluating in detail the project resources. All the voting transactions published by each backer are public and could be scrutinized by any person after the challenge is terminated. In this period the participants can not update their project submission under any circumstance.&nbsp; Winners Announced&nbsp;- 13th October On 13th of October the winners and the final results are published on the TAIKAI website. Apart from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, all the top 10 project&rsquo;s members will also receive KAI token rewards and special badges as social recognition for their effort on this remarkable initiative.
