<p>LambdaZK Week is a four-day hacking week from July 15th to 18th aimed at pushing the boundaries of ZK technology. Participants will be able to hack on LambdaWorks and Zero Knowledge Machine Learning (ZKML), develop  apps using L1s &amp; L2s that incorporate Zero Knowledge tech or develop games using the DOJO onchain game engine.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Goals</h2><p>We want to gather smart people, builders and researchers that want to hack on ZK surrounded by most of the builders of the industry.</p><p>Luckily many sponsors(builders and VCs) joined and many of them shared projects, challenges or ideas to inspire. You can see them in <a href="https://taikai.network/lambdaclass/hackathons/lambdazkweek/ideas" target="_blank">here</a></p><p>Our main goal is to reward teamwork within existing projects, so all prizes will be subject to a technical review after the event. These are individuals who are passionate about learning and exploring the concepts and applications of zero knowledge proofs and related technologies. <h2>Schedule</h2><p><br /></p><p>Everyone should have their projects public and enabled by the 4th day, Tuesday, at 1 pm.</p><p>On the final day, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a jury. </p><p>We currently have nearly 70K in prizes that will be distributed among the main track and different sponsored tracks. </p><p>Our main goal is to reward teamwork within existing projects, so all prizes will be subject to a technical review after the event. <h2>LambdaWorks</h2><p>🚀 This project began by implementing the STARKs' prover. Lambdaworks covers critical aspects like finite field arithmetic, Merkle trees, and hash functions. We're excited to continue with elliptic curves and SNARKs. 🔧</p><p>🤔 What are STARKs? They're scalable, transparent arguments of knowledge—an essential cryptographic primitive. STARKs enable computational integrity by offering concise proofs of correct computations. Leveraging Cairo and ONNX’s capabilities, Orion enables a transparent, verifiable, open-source machine learning inference framework.</p><p>Let’s break it down.</p><p>What is ONNX Runtime? - ONNX Runtime is a cross-platform machine-learning model accelerator, with a flexible interface to integrate hardware-specific libraries, which can be used with models from PyTorch, Tensorflow/Keras, and other frameworks.</p><p>Why Cairo? Cairo programming language enables developers to create provable and scalable computations associated with ML inference.</p><p>Orion leverages Cairo to guarantee the reliability of an inference, providing developers with a user-friendly framework to build complex and verifiable machine learning models.</p><p>Orion Goals:</p><p>1️⃣ Provide a runtime implementation for verifiable ML model inferences using STARKs.</p><p>2️⃣ Compliance with ONNX. interoperate between the ONNX format for a given trained model into a Cairo program using ONNX Cairo Runtime. We can easily represent any ONNX operators in Cairo code.</p><p>3️⃣ Tensor/ Linear Algebra computation (like Numpy) in Cairo 1.0.</p><p>4️⃣ Provide Orion APIs - Operators, Numbers, Performance - to enable  wide range of functions for effective neural network calculations, extended numeric capabilities, and performance-enhancing features.</p><p>5️⃣ Clear documentation with step-by step tutorials catering to beginners and advanced users alike.</p><p>You can now build your first Neural Network in Cairo 1.0 with Orion. Starknet is a Validity Rollup that operates as an L2 on top of Ethereum. It gives developers the opportunity to build applications that scale without compromising composability and by inheriting the security of Ethereum. Wait! What?! How can that be possible? This is doable due to the use of STARKs, a secure and scalable proving system. To write smart contracts for Starknet, Starkware did some magic and created Cairo, a language that makes it easy to build STARK-compatible programs. Yes, you can code any type of program with Cairo and make it provable 🤯!  And thanks to Starknet you can make these programs run in a scalable and secure L2.</p><p>Goals:</p><p>1️⃣ Let your imagination fly, build without limitations. DeFi? NFTs? Games? You can write any type of program you want and still get the best security, and scalability for any use case. You just need to focus on the business logic.</p><p>2️⃣ Starknet has a very ambitious roadmap ahead and its users will be able to enjoy a fast and great UX. The next upcoming 0.12 upgrade will improve throughput, scale, and transaction latency. 100 TPS here we go!</p><p>3️⃣ Starknet supports account abstraction natively, you can create great UX for your users. Now accounts are just smart contracts that can be modified and leveraged for composability.</p>

When nothing is going on there, you can expect a general transmission of the event.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Will the talks be recorded?</h2><p>Unless the speaker states otherwise, every talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Is there food and beverages at the event?</h2><p>Food and drinks will be provided free for all attendees. We'll be providing lunch and dinner daily, and there will be random snacks and beverages available 24/7.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Why is the official language English?</h2><p>We have attendees coming from all over the world. English is usually well understood and accepted. Our main motivation is technology and talent, and these are global attributes, so our main 'language' is what we use to code. </p><p><br /></p><h2>Do I get a participation certificate at the end?</h2><p>Yes, we can provide participation certificates on demand in the days following LambdaZk Week. Just make sure you actually participate.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Are there hotels nearby?</h2><p>LambdaZk Week's venue is in a very central location in the city, so there are plenty of hotels around. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Are there showers available?</h2><p>The logistics for this are complicated, so don't count on it. Bathrooms are available, but not showers</p><h2><br /></h2><p><br /></p><h2>Is there Wi-Fi at the event?</h2><p>Of course. </p><p><br /></p><h2>Will the Wi-Fi be any good ?</h2><p>The million-dollar question… The organization will provide a world-class setup but, ultimately, this depends on you and your fellow attendees. Bear in mind that hotspots are NOT ALLOWED at the event. Wi-Fi is a shared medium, like a pool, please don't pee in the pool.</p><h2><br /></h2><h2>I am interested in exhibiting or becoming a sponsor, what do I do?</h2><p>If you are interested in sponsoring LambdaZk Week, please contact us at for a prospectus and sponsorship application instructions.</p><p><br /></p><h2>I'm a tech guy but I also do recruiting. Is it OK if I talk to someone at LambdaZk Week to see if they're interested in working with me?</h2><p>You cannot engage in direct recruitment activities during LambdaZk Week. This is one of the core rules of the event. The attendees don't enjoy unsolicited targeting, and we don't want to turn the event into a battlefield for hires. Trust us, it's better for you, not only for attendees. Having said this, it's OK if the interest is mutual and both parties want to talk (meaning the attendee approaches you). It's definitely NOT OK if you're preaching to the crowd or fishing around for interest.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Can I leave a few flyers on the tables to advertise my group/event/company?</h2><p>That would depend on what you're advertising.
