Hackers will be able to unleash their innovative and creative energy while avoiding distractions, inefficiencies, and other unnecessary fuss.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Categories</h2><p>Hackers will have 48 hours to realize their wildest concepts in a comfortable and accommodating environment.</p><p>You can work on anything you want as long as it is DeFi &amp; DAO related and approved by the organizers.</p><p>Your hacking project can be a dapp, an infrastructure solution, a developer tool, or even pull requests to organizer githubs.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Prizes</h2><p>The number of awards depends on the number of submitted projects, as 20% of submissions are guaranteed to get a prize.</p><p>The organizers will provide bounties, financial and NFT prizes, medals and trophies.</p><p>Hackers will also be given the opportunity to choose finalists among themselves.</p><p>There will even be a public poll on social media for a 'People's choice' award.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Dates</h2><p>Oct 7-9, 2022</p>

<p>Hackers will have 48 hours to realize their wildest concepts in a comfortable and accommodating environment.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Hacking Process</h2><ul><li><p>The minimum number of hackers per group is 2 and maximum of 5.</p></li><li><p>You can work on anything you want as long as it is DeFi &amp; DAO related and approved by the organizers. Ideas should be validated with organizers before beginning to work on them.</p></li><li><p>Your hacking project can be a dapp, an infrastructure solution, a developer tool, or even pull requests to organizer githubs.</p></li><li><p>Mentors will be assigned when the hacking starts.</p></li><li><p>Submissions will be done in Taikai.<br /><br /></p></li></ul><h2>Judging Process</h2><ul><li><p>The judging process will be public, on the last day of the event, in the Artesano area or a section of the AR area.</p></li><li><p>Each submitted project would have 5 to 10 min to present, the order depends on the submission time, the earlier you submit your project the earlier you will present.</p></li><li><p>Each judge will have a sign with the numbers 1 to 5 (hacking points) and they would publicly announce their decision and say their motive (optional).</p></li><li><p>In case of a tie, the winner would be decided based on the time that the project application was submitted.</p></li><li><p>A project can get two extra hacking points by pitching the project in 180 seconds, to make sure the presentations would be kept short and consistent.</p></li></ul>

<h2>What is Infinite Hackathons #0 - Genesis Bogota?</h2><p>Infinite Hackathons #0 - Genesis Bogota is a yearly technology event, spanning over three days of non-stop technical talks, workshops, competitions, and coding. For 60 hours straight, around 1000 participants can enjoy world-class presentations, demos, community events, and its classic 48-hour coding competition.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Who can attend Infinite Hackathons #0 - Genesis Bogota?</h2><p>Infinite Hackathons #0 - Genesis Bogota is targeted at creative minds with a hacker spirit (in the classical definition of the word). Anyone with a technical profile is welcome to apply, engineers, designers, students..</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>How are applicants selected?</h2><p>Applications are processed on a “first received, first processed” basis. If an applicant is qualified, their application is approved and they will be entered into the hackathon.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>How much does it cost?</h2><p>Infinite Hackathons #0 - Genesis Bogota is free for all selected candidates.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Will there be a wait list?</h2><p>Yes, there will be a wait list. All applicants will be notified once their application has been processed, whether they have been accepted, waitlisted or rejected.</p><p><br /></p><h2><br /></h2><h2>Can I bring a guest to the event?</h2><p>No. All attendees must apply to the event individually.</p><h2><br /></h2><p><br /></p><h2>I was selected but can't attend the event, what do I do?</h2><p>Please let us know. Spots are limited and it would be nice if another candidate could go instead.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Will there be a live stream from the event?</h2><p>Yes, live streaming will be available. The feed will be focused on the activities taking place on the main stage, such as talks and judging.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Will the talks be recorded?</h2><p>Yes, every talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Is there food and beverages at the event?</h2><p>Food and drinks will be provided free for all attendees. We'll be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and there will be random snacks and beverages available 24/7.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Will you be handing out Swag?</h2><p>That is a very big YES! There will also be NFTs and POAPs handed out.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><h2>Should I arrange for a place to stay?
