WebFusion Lagos 2023

What is WebFusion Lagos 2023?

WebFusion is a three-day hackathon held in Lagos, Nigeria. Bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 technologies by introducing developers to NEAR's Blockchain Operating System. The event is fostered by a community partnership between NEAR and ALX Africa. 

Who can attend?

This event is targeted at creative minds with a technical profile, including but not limited to ALX graduates, web developers, artists, tech enthusiasts and more 

How are applicants selected?

The Hackathon is open to developers from all backgrounds 

Register in groups?

No. Candidates must register and apply individually.

Do you cover transportation and/or accommodation costs?

No, but there may be discounts and partnerships announced closer to the event date.

Can I bring a guest to the event?

All attendees must apply to the event individually or register on the first day of the event 

I registered but can't attend the event. What do I do?

This is a hybrid hackathon. If you're unable to make it to the venue, you can partake online!

When will the schedule be available?

A detailed schedule will be maintained under the Timeline tab. 

Will there be a live stream from the event?

Due to logistical constraints, live streaming will not be available.

Will the talks be recorded?

Yes. Talks will be recorded 

Is there food and beverages at the event?

Food and drinks will be provided for free to all attendees. We'll be providing breakfast and lunch. There will also be snacks and beverages available.

Is there Wi-Fi at the event?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi will be available throughout the venue.
