On that note, here are the judging criteria: </p><ol><li><strong>Innovation and Creativity (25%)</strong> = Originality of the idea + Creative application of Web3 technologies.</li><li><strong>Technical Complexity (25%)</strong> = Level of technical challenge + Effective use of Web3 tools and platforms.</li><li><strong>Functionality and Usability (20%)</strong> =  How well the project functions + User experience and ease of use.</li><li><strong>Impact and Potential (20%)</strong> = Potential real-world impact + Scalability and future growth potential.</li><li><strong>Presentation and Demo (10%)</strong> = Clarity and effectiveness of the presentation + Quality of the project demonstration.</li></ol><p><br /></p><h2><span class="fr-emoticon fr-deletable fr-emoticon-img" style="background:url(https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/emojione/2.0.1/assets/svg/1f4e9.svg)"> </span> Submission Guidelines</h2><p>Hackers submit their project with a form including the project name, participants, description, details, bounties applying to, presentation (Google Slides) or video (YouTube unlisted), Github repository and live demo link. This will also serve to showcase projects in the ETHDublin website in reference to previous events.</p><p><u><span class="fr-emoticon fr-deletable fr-emoticon-img" style="background:url(https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/emojione/2.0.1/assets/svg/1f4cc.svg)"> </span>All presentations will be broadcast from the same device on the stage.</u></p><p>Each team has <strong>7 minutes</strong> to present their project. We recommend 4 minutes for presenting and 3 minutes for judge questioning. The creator of an npayme Promote fundraising campaign and the affiliates who spread word of it to their networks may each earn a small commission for each donation via a feature called “share and earn”.  Watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhOnoqFsniU) that walks through how to create and use an npayme Promote campaign.</p><p>The current release supports the donation of USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, and zkSync Era. Funds are distributed to the creator, affiliates, and the beneficiary, but nothing is delivered to the donor (payer). It’s a decentralized GoFundMe campaign, with incentives for affiliates.</p><p>Our next release will deliver an NFT (Ethereum, Polygon, or zkSync Era) to the person making a payment. The bounty task includes three components; solutions supporting more than one of those three chains will be ranked more highly):</p><ul><li>Upon the payment of a minimum creator-specified amount of USDC, an existing NFT is automatically transferred to the payer’s wallet. ORGANISATION OF THE CHALLENGE</h2><p>ETH Ireland Hackathons Limited (referred to as "ETHIreland"), located at Malton House, Custom House Square, Dublin 1, is organising a challenge ("Challenge") to be held from May 31st to June 2nd, 2024.</p><h2>2. DEFINITIONS</h2><p>In this document, there are details on: </p><ul><li>Prizes: Awards given to the Winners at the end of the Challenge.</li><li>Overview: Specifications provided by the Organiser, including deadlines, Prizes, guidelines, and themes.</li><li>Challenge: The competition is organised by the Organiser.</li><li>Confidential Information: Material or immaterial information communicated by the Organiser to the Innovator.</li><li>Intellectual Property Rights: Legal rights related to designs, copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc.</li><li>General User Terms &amp; Conditions and Privacy Policy: Terms and policies of the TAIKAI platform.</li><li>Projects: Submissions, ideas, documents, or materials uploaded by Innovators.</li><li>Expert Judges: Jury responsible for selecting winning Projects.</li><li>Innovator: Person registered and participating in the Challenge.</li><li>Registration: Process of registering as an Innovator.</li><li>Rules: Terms and conditions of the Challenge.</li><li>Team: Group of innovators (2 to 5 members) participating in the Challenge.</li><li>Winner(s): Members of the top three Projects selected by the Expert Judges.</li></ul><h2>3. PURPOSE OF THE RULES</h2><p>3.1. These Rules define participation terms for the Challenge. They supplement the General User Terms &amp; Conditions and Privacy Policy. In case of inconsistency, these Rules prevail.</p><p>3.2. The Challenge is based on skill, not chance, and does not resemble a lottery.</p><h2>4. CONDITIONS FOR ENTERING THE CHALLENGE</h2><p>4.1. Hacker participation is guaranteed via a refundable €10 deposit, less the Stripe fees.</p><p>4.2. Innovators must read and accept the Rules before Registration.</p><p>4.3. Participants must be of legal age. Minors require parental/guardian consent.</p><p>4.4. Innovators must comply with the Rules to be eligible for Prizes.</p><p>4.5. Each person may submit only one entry.</p><p>4.6. Teams are recommended to consist of 2 to 5 members.</p><p>4.7. Non-compliance with the Rules will result in disqualification without notice.</p><h2>5. REGISTRATION AND ACCESS TO THE CHALLENGE</h2><p>5.1. Innovators must create a user account on taikai.network, providing valid information and accepting the General Terms &amp; Conditions and Privacy Policy.</p><p>5.2. Incomplete or incorrect registrations will be disqualified.</p><p>5.3. Innovators agree to receive email communications from the Organiser.</p><h2>6. DURATION OF THE CHALLENGE</h2><p>6.1. The Challenge will run from May 31st to June 2nd, 2024.</p><p>6.2. All dates are in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) for the year 2024.</p><p>6.3. The Organiser reserves the right to adjust the duration of the Challenge with notice to participants.</p><h2>7. PRINCIPLE OF THE CHALLENGE</h2><p>7.1. The Challenge involves creating contributions aligned with specified requirements.</p><p>7.2. Contributions must adhere to the Challenge rules and be in English.</p><h2>8. DELIVERABLES</h2><p>8.1. Project Deliverables must meet Challenge requirements outlined on the platform.</p><p>8.2. Innovators must submit the following on the platform:</p><ul><li>Project/Team name</li><li>Project description</li><li>Discord username for contact person</li><li>Repository with project code, a Figma page presentation or equivalent. </li><li>90-second video demo and/or 10-slide presentation.</li><li>Contract address(es) or website URLs of deployed applications (optional)</li></ul><p>8.3. Incomplete or unreadable submissions will be notified for resubmission before the deadline.</p><p>8.4. Projects suspected of third-party involvement will be disqualified.</p><p>8.5. Large files may be uploaded to external sites with links provided in the project description.</p><h2>9. EVALUATION PROCESS</h2><p>9.1. Project evaluation will occur on June 2nd, 2024.</p><p>9.2. Evaluation criteria include technicality, practicability, innovation, and originality.</p><p>9.3. Selection is based on merit, excluding personal attributes or chance.</p><p>9.4. Expert Judges will be appointed to select winning projects.</p><p>9.5. Transparent token-based voting will facilitate project selection.</p><h2>10. IMAGE COPYRIGHT</h2><p>The use of copyright-free photos or images is required. The Organiser is not liable for third-party intellectual property rights.</p><h2>11. PRIZES</h2><p>11.1. Prizes are awarded based on project quality, adherence to rules, and acceptance of Intellectual Property and disclosure terms.</p><p>11.2. Prize delivery is contingent on meeting Challenge rules and providing necessary documentation.</p><p>11.3. Only projects on the taikai.network website are eligible for prizes.</p><p>11.4. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.</p><p>11.5. The Organiser may substitute prizes of similar value or provide cash equivalents if prizes are unavailable.</p><p>11.6. The Organiser is not liable for any issues related to prize use or functionality.</p><p>11.7. Winners are responsible for any additional costs associated with prizes.</p><p>11.8. Winners will be notified via email within 15 days after the Challenge ends.</p><p>11.9. Prize structure will be defined closer to the event.</p><h2>12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY</h2><p>12.1. Projects involving multiple Innovators are collaborative works.</p><p>12.2. The Organiser has rights to reproduce, distribute, and modify projects.</p><p>12.3. Each Innovator guarantees ownership of Intellectual Property rights related to their contributions.</p><p>12.4. Innovators must ensure originality and accuracy of their contributions.</p><h2>13. COMMUNICATION</h2><p>13.1. Winners authorise the use of their information for promotional purposes for up to 2 years after the Challenge.</p><h2>14. LIABILITY</h2><p>14.1. The Organiser is not liable for telecommunication network issues affecting participation.</p><p>14.2. Participants acknowledge internet-related risks and limitations and release the Organiser from liability.</p><p>14.3. The Organiser is not liable for late submissions, website issues, or email delivery failures.</p><p>14.4. The Organiser is not liable for Challenge modifications or cancellations beyond its control.</p><p>14.5. Disqualification due to rule violations does not incur Organiser liability.</p><p>14.6. The Organiser is not liable for project use beyond Challenge scope.</p><p>14.7. Winners are responsible for prize receipt; Organiser is not liable for non-receipt.</p><h2>15. <h2>Do I need a ticket?</h2><p>If you're accepted as a hacker, you don't need a ticket but are required to stake a deposit of €10 to secure your spot. This deposit is refunded upon attendance. If you've staked a deposit but can't attend, please notify our support team at info@ethdublin.io at least 24 hours before the event. Note that the deposit is non-refundable if you fail to notify us.</p><h2>Where will the event be?</h2><p>ETHDublin 2024 will take place at Dogpatch Labs in the CHQ Building, Dublin 1.
