Hackathon Rules

This regulation contains information about the event, as well as all rules applicable to the “Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023" (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation" and the “Hackathon", respectively).

The Hackathon is an event aimed at all university students, students, and professionals in the technology job market who are registered for it (collectively referred to as “Participants").

Participants fully adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in this Regulation.

Objective

The purpose of this Regulation is to establish the rules and conditions for the creation and development of innovative applications that are capable of leveraging the use of the Blockchain and Web3 ecosystem, considering all capabilities already implemented, hereinafter referred to as the (“Challenge 2023").

Objective and Structure

The Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023 aims to promote creativity based on the Challenge 2023, as well as to create interaction between Participants and Inteli.

The objective of the Hackathon is for Participants to propose ideas and strategies based on data in search of solutions for the Challenge 2023 and present them to the judging panel. The solutions must follow the following premises: (i) based on proven and analyzed data by Participants, with their respective programming codes; and (ii) demonstrably functional and consistent through exposure to the judging panel of possible solutions.

Local and event data

The Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023 will be held on May 5, 6, and 7, 2023, according to the schedule available through the link https://hackathon.inteliblockchain.co/.

The event will be held exclusively in-person at Inteli, located at Avenida Professor Almeida Prado, nº 520, Butantã neighborhood, São Paulo/SP, ZIP Code: 05508-070.

Expenses related to transportation to the event venue are entirely the responsibility of the Participants.

Pre-registration

Registration for the Hackathon will begin on March 20, 2023, through the completion of all mandatory fields in the electronic pre-registration form available on the event website.

The event organizers reserve the right to change the date described above without prior notice.

Members of the Organizing Committee are prohibited from participating as Participants in the event.

Only one pre-registration per person is allowed, which will be made by presenting the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (CPF).

The filling and submitting of the electronic registration form does not guarantee the participation of the registered person in the Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023, as registrations are subject to the discretionary analysis of the Organizing Committee.

In case the number of registered participants exceeds the number of available spots initially, the Organizing Committee may, at its sole discretion, eventually create additional spots.

All pre-registered profiles will go through a curation process by the Organizing Committee, taking into consideration the information provided in the registration form.

Registrations made by means other than those provided for in this Regulation will not be accepted.

Participants, even if already in a formed group, must register individually.

The person interested in participating in the Challenge 2023 is responsible for correctly filling out the form and providing truthful information, under penalty of disqualification, at any time and at any stage, at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee.

Participation

Participation in the Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023 is voluntary, free, nominative, and non-transferable. The registration and participation of any person in the Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023 does not create an employment, corporate, or commercial relationship with Inteli.

Participants will compete in teams formed by 02 (two) to 06 (six) participants with diverse skills (“Teams"), always observing the objective of this edition.

Each member of the duly registered team must be present on at least one day of the event. In addition, the presence of at least 1 participant from each team will be required on the last day of the event for the pitch and final evaluation.

The Participant will be responsible for any necessary expenses and costs related to their participation in the event.

No team member is authorized to hire third-party companies or support systems for the development of the proposed challenge solution. Projects should not have additional costs for Inteli, and Participants should only use existing systems that do not require the purchase of licenses and/or updates.

The Participant declares, through this Regulation, to be aware of and agree with the Processing of their personal data, namely: full name, CPF, personal email, gender, phone, address, date of birth, education ("Personal Data") by Inteli, including the sharing of Personal Data among Inteli, sponsors, and partners, for the sole purpose of carrying out the Inteli Blockchain Challenge 2023 and its promotion.

Any and all Processing of Personal Data will always be carried out in accordance with Law No. 13,709, of August 14, 2018 ("LGPD").

If you are being harassed or witness someone else being harassed, or have other concerns about this issue, please contact a member of the event organization team immediately.

Participants, sponsors, partners, and volunteers of the Hackathon who violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the Hackathon at the discretion of the Hackathon organizers and Inteli. If a Participant engages in harassing behavior, the Hackathon organizers and Inteli may take appropriate action, including warning the offender or expelling them from the event.
