Tickethon
The goal of this hackathon is to find solutions to improve and accelerate the process of both providing the digital tickets as well as validating them. We aim to improve both smooth operation and ticket validation as well as passenger experience.

All participants who have their project accepted for the hackathon will receive 200 Google cloud credits at the beginning of the innovation phase.
Jury vote
The three top ranked teams by the jury will be rewarded with the following prizes:
- 1st Place: 10,000 €, Tickets to the next physical Google I/O (not including travel and accommodation), 10k Google cloud credits
- 2nd Place: 6,000 €, 6k Google cloud credits
- 3rd Place: 4,000 €, 4k Google cloud credits
All submitted projects will be assessed by a jury containing members of Wiener Linien, as well as our partners. The jury will assess the following points:
- Feasibility
- Speed
- Accuracy
- Improvement to the current system
- Passenger experience
- Inspector experience
- Stage of development
- Presentation
Community vote
In the Vienna Tickethon community vote, all participants get to vote for other teams’ projects based on their presentation video.
