About the challengeTourism is a key economic driver in Africa, with international arrivals in 2024 surpassing pre-pandemic levels and South Africa’s sector alone projected to support nearly 1.9 million jobs in 2025 (source: UN Tourism). EligibilityThis hackathon is open to anyone, with a special focus on students from universities in South Africa. Participants must form teams of 3-4 members.DurationThe hackathon lasts four days, and all hacking must be completed during the hackathon time.
