GENERAL RULES 📄</h2>2.1 Team Formation:<ul><li>Participants may form teams of their choice.</li><li>Each team must consist of a minimum of  2 members. </li></ul>2.2 Verticals:Each participating team must select one of the following verticals for their project:<ul><li>DeFi  (e.g. AMM, Aggregator, Lending &amp; Borrowing, etc.)</li><li>NFT &amp; Gaming  (e.g. NFT Platform, POAP dApp, Marketplace, Web3 Game etc.)</li><li>Infrastructure  (e.g. Remix, Bridge, Text Messaging, Internet Identity etc.)</li></ul> 2.3 Forks:Forked projects are allowed, but they must be 100% rebranded and demonstrate improvements or innovations from the original project. 2.4 Frontend Development:The frontend of the project must be developed on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). 2.5 Functionality:Projects must be 100% functional by the end of the hackathon. 2.6 Social Media Account:Each project must create and maintain its own social media account (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, or any relevant platform) to share updates and engage with the community. <h2>3. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 📝</h2>3.1 Project Documentation:Each team must provide clear and comprehensive documentation for their project, including installation instructions and usage guidelines. 3.2 Demo Video:Teams must create a demo video showcasing their project's features and functionality. The video should be no longer than 5 minutes. 3.3 GitHub Repository:Each project must have a public GitHub repository that includes all project code and resources. <h2>4. JUDGING CRITERIA ✨</h2>4.1 Innovation and Creativity:Projects will be evaluated based on their uniqueness on the Bitfinity Network, creativity, and innovative use of the Internet Computer Protocol. 4.2 Functionality and Completeness:Projects must be fully functional and demonstrate a clear use case. 4.3 User Experience:Judges will consider the overall user experience, including ease of use and design. 4.4 Adherence to Vertical:Projects will be judged on how well they address the chosen vertical (DeFi, NFT &amp; Gaming, or Infrastructure). 4.5 Community Engagement:Teams are encouraged to engage with the community through their social media accounts and may receive additional points for active community involvement. <h2>5. <h2>What is Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan?</h2>Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan is a yearly technology event, spanning over three days of non-stop technical talks, workshops, competitions, and coding. For 60 hours straight, around 1000 participants can enjoy world-class presentations, demos, community events, and its classic 48-hour coding competition. <h2>Who can attend Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan?</h2>Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan is targeted at creative minds with a hacker spirit (in the classical definition of the word). Anyone with a technical profile is welcome to apply, not only engineers (eg. web designers are welcome too). <h2>How much does it cost?</h2>Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan is free for all selected candidates. <h2>Can I register our company employees in bulk?</h2>No. Candidates must register and apply individually (they are evaluated and selected individually too, see above). <h2>Do you pay for the atendees' transportation and/or accomodation costs?</h2>No. However, there may be discounts and other partnerships. If so, these will be announced in the months leading to the event, so make sure you follow us in one of the social networks where we're present.  <h2>Can I bring a guest to the event?</h2>No. All attendees must apply to the event individually. <h2>Do I have to participate in the 24h programming competition?</h2>No. But we do encourage you to participate in something during the event, and not just passively roam around the venue. Fortunately, there are plenty of activities to choose from. <h2>Why is the official language English?</h2>Although most of our participants are from Italy, we have attendees coming from all over the world. English is usually well understood and accepted. Our main motivation is technology and talent, and these are global attributes, so our main 'language' is what we use to code. English is not the only language at the event, though. The event is bilingual, so there may be talks held in italian. These will be properly identified in the event's schedule. <h2>Do I get a participation certificate at the end?</h2>Yes, we can provide participation certificates on demand in the days following Bitfinity Hackathon | ETH Milan.
