Legal Hallucination Checker stops AI assistants from citing laws and court cases that do not exist. Lawyers in several countries have been sanctioned for filing AI-fabricated citations, and Portuguese and EU law is especially exposed: three separate registers, and numbering that changes by type of act and by year, so an invented citation looks exactly like a real one.

It plugs into Grok, Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT. Before an answer reaches the lawyer, it checks every Portuguese and EU citation against the official registers, Diário da República, EUR-Lex and DGSI, removes the fabricated ones and ends the answer with a receipt. Paste a memo or a pleading and it returns a verdict table with a link to each register page. Deterministic, under a second, in English or Portuguese, no text stored, hosted in the EU.
