The problem When floods hit rural Madhya Pradesh, families send requests for help by phone and WhatsApp, in Hindi and English, to whoever they know. Nonprofits like FREEDOM Organization (Bhopal, founded 1996) receive duplicate, incomplete and urgent messages all at once, with no way to tell a life-threatening emergency from a request for blankets, or to see who has already been helped.
Our solution: ResQLink AI Families and self-help group (SHG) leaders send a WhatsApp message, voice note or location in Hindi or English. Four AI agents then do the paperwork, while FREEDOM’s coordinators make every decision that matters:
Safe by design Life-threatening messages are caught by fixed rules, never by AI, and the person is told to call 112 within seconds while staff are alerted. Every AI decision is logged and checked by rules before it’s used. We ask for consent before saving any details, and anyone can send DELETE to remove theirs.
Built with OutSystems Developer Cloud (Agent Workbench, Mentor, timers, REST APIs), Twilio WhatsApp, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Speech (Microsoft), and Amazon Location Service (AWS).
Our partner FREEDOM Organization works with women’s self-help groups and rural and tribal families across Madhya Pradesh. Their SHG network becomes ResQLink’s local verifiers, and their livelihood programmes are where families are referred to recover.
