Mindblowingly, 72% of the world lives under repressed or closed civic space https://monitor.civicus.org/globalfindings_2025/innumbers/- i.e. in their countries, donations to political parties, independent media and press,  human rights projects (minorities, women, LGBTQ+), even environment activists can be dangerous


 The problem for many people is donating became a legal risk, and every traceable donation (card, bank, or a public blockchain) is permanent proof of who you backed.

What Cloak does. Cloak is a UI on top of 0xbow's Privacy Pools v2. You deposit into a shared pool, then the gift reaches the cause from the pool with no on-chain link back to you - while the Association Set still lets the cause prove the funds are clean. Accountable privacy, not secrecy.

How it works (live on Sepolia). 
Connect wallet → real Privacy Pools v2 deposit (verifiable on Etherscan) → once the Association Set approves it, withdraw privately to the cause through a relayer. 
Donate to a set of listed projects, to a custom ERC20 address, or create and list a new initiative (+a widget to make secure donations to embed in your website)

Two modes: 1-step deposit (user deposits into a pool and the wallet owner have to withdraw from the pool)
or, or 2-step deposit-then-withdraw (user deposits into a pool and then pushes the donation to the receiver's wallet after the monitoring has been passed)

Plus an AI advisor (Claude) that gives a personalized, honest read on your risk, an Impact Wall (transparency), self-serve donation pages + an embeddable widget, and an explicit "what Cloak does and does NOT protect" panel.Tech. Honest scope: the deposit is real and on-chain today; the private withdrawal completes once the Association Set approves the deposit. Causes shown (Meduza, OVD-Info, Razom for Ukraine) use their real addresses; the demo runs on testnet.
