SpaceFit turns a room's dimensions and a handful of workplace rules into a scaled, rule-checked office layout in seconds — no manual CAD work, no image-generation guesswork, just deterministic computational geometry.
Users define the space (rectangle, width × length), desk size, cluster sizes (2 to 8 desks), minimum corridor widths, and chair/circulation clearances, then choose between two modes: Maximize (fill the space with as many workstations as possible) or Target (hit an exact desk count, with individual fields lockable so the engine only adjusts the ones left free).
The layout engine tries both desk orientations, mixes cluster sizes to avoid wasted slivers, and combines orientations across leftover strips before giving up on a pocket of space. Any corner too small for another desk cluster is automatically filled with a lounge grouping — rug, sofa, armchair, side table — instead of sitting empty.
Every generated plan reports total workstations, m² per desk, % of area occupied by desks/circulation vs. lounge, and monthly revenue potential from a configurable price per desk — turning a floor plan into a business case, instantly.
