Description

There are a lot of apps to discover specialty coffee in town. But what if the specialty coffee is in our home?

Coffegram is a coffee network for people who brew specialty coffee at home. Scan the bag you just bought and the AI reads the label. You land on that coffee's page, where you see how the community rated it, what people actually tasted, and the recipes that scored best, down to the grinder and the click setting. Tap Brew this and Coffegram walks you through every pour with a timer and a water target for each step. Rate your cup, tag what you taste, and share it.

Your feed is full of real brews from people who brew like you. You follow them, look at their gear and taste profile, comment and swap settings, and find coffees and roasters you'd never have found on your own. Every brew someone logs makes the coffee's page smarter for the next person.

The problem we solve

  • A bag of specialty coffee costs €15–25 and comes with a puzzle. The label lists origin, process and tasting notes, but never how to brew that bag on your grinder.
  • Brewing knowledge is scattered across YouTube recipes, Reddit threads, grinder charts and paper notebooks. None of it is tied to the coffee in your hand.
  • So most people guess, get a sour or bitter cup, and waste part of an expensive bag dialling in.
  • Discovery apps help you find specialty coffee in town. Nothing helps you get the best out of the coffee you brew at home, or connects you with the people brewing the same bags.

Features

  • AI bag scan. Point your camera at a bag. Gemini Flash-Lite reads roaster, coffee, origin, process, variety and tasting notes in about two seconds, then matches the coffee or creates it.
  • Coffee pages. Community rating, the tasting notes people actually picked up, and the best recipes for that coffee with grinder and setting, calculated live from real brews.
  • Guided brew mode. Method, recipe, dose, water, temperature and a grind dial for your grinder. A timer shows the water target for every pour, scaled to your recipe.
  • Recipes. Classics built in (James Hoffmann's V60 and AeroPress, Tetsu Kasuya's 4:6, Chemex, Kalita, espresso 1:2), plus a builder for your own.
  • Coffee network. A live feed of brews, follows, likes and comments, and profiles for home brewers, roasters and cafés.
  • Taste profile. Your favourite flavour families (nutty, floral, berry…) with a match percentage, your top origins, and your activity.
  • Gear pages. 35 real machines, grinders and brewers, each showing who owns it and the settings people use.
  • Colourful flavours. Every tasting note belongs to a flavour family with its own 3D icon and colour.
