Brought to you by ICP Hub Portugal in partnership with Open Internet Summer . The applications for Build on ICP hackathon are now open to developers and teams who are: 

• Willing to build projects on the IC Protocol
• Looking to continue building their project beyond the duration of the hackathon
• Willing to give a shot at winning a prize from our USD 15,000 pool of prizes.

🏆Hackathon prizes and bounties

Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 teams: 

Infrastructure Track:

1st place gets USD 2,500 in stablecoins plus a PR campaign, and a fast-track to the ICP accelerator program,  and grants and funding support

2nd place gets USD 1,500 in stablecoins

3rd place gets USD 500 in stablecoins

AI Track:

1st place gets USD 2,500 in stablecoins plus a PR campaign, and a fast-track to the ICP accelerator program,  and grants and funding support

2nd place gets USD 1,500 in stablecoins

3rd place gets USD 500 in stablecoins

Main/Generic Track:

1st place gets USD 2,000 in stablecoins plus a PR campaign and a fast-track to the ICP accelerator program, and grants and funding support

2nd place gets USD 1,000 in stablecoins

3rd place gets USD 500 in stablecoins

Prizes will be announced on the IRL Showcase day in Lisbon, Portugal on the 12th of July and winners will be awarded within 2 weeks of the announcement. (KYC will be mandatory to claim the payment.)

📍Location

It’s a hybrid hackathon focussed on ICP community. The workshop sessions will take place online, but you will have to be present for hacking in the Lisbon office on some days. You will also must be presenting at the IRL final showcase event in Lisbon.

It is organised in the crypto capital of Europe - Lisbon for the best builders to create truly disruptive projects.

We highly encourage builders to be in Lisbon for the entire duration of the hackathon.

It will finish with the IRL showcase event (on the 12th July) at the ICP Lisbon office.

⏳Timeline

Build on ICP – is a hybrid hackathon taking place from the 1st of July to the 12th of July 2024, which will include both online and in-person activities. 

1. Applications start: 10th June 
2. Onboarding: 24th – 01st July 2024
3. Training & Team Matching: 01st July – 05th July 2024
4. Hacking phase: 05th July – 10th July 2024
5. Final Showcase: 11th July 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal

☑️ Eligibility criteria to take part in Build on ICP 

1. Teams must not have received a grant or hackathon prizes, from the DFINITY Foundation for the project they wish to submit.
2. Ideally, the project idea should be unique to ICP, with no similar existing solutions. (Refer to existing projects on Internet Computer Ecosystem)
3. Min 1 team member must be present in Lisbon to showcase the project during the IRL showcase event in Lisbon on 11th July. 
4. Participants must be proficient in English
5. Teams must contain members above the age of 18
