<h3>What is Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon?</h3><p>It’s a hybrid hackathon focussed on ICP community. It is organised in the crypto capital of Europe - Lisbon for the best builders to create truly disruptive projects. It will take place from 01st of July to 12th July.</p><p>We highly encourage builders to be in Lisbon for the entire duration of the hackathon.</p><p>It will finish with the IRL showcase event (on the 11th July) at the ICP Lisbon office. </p><h3>Who can attend Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon?</h3><p>Build on ICP Hackathon is targeted at entrepreneurs and developers. Anyone with a technical profile is welcome to apply, not only engineers (eg. web designers are welcome too).</p><h3>How are applicants selected?</h3><p>Build on ICP Hackathon curators aim at selecting the best, most participative and motivated, programmers and entrepreneurs. For this they rely on what candidates fill in their profiles (their pitches and personal bios). CVs don't matter, please don't paste full CVs as an application pitch. What matters is your potential, experience and your passion for technology.</p><h3>How much does it cost?</h3><p>Build on ICP Hackathon is free for all selected candidates.</p><h3>I am new to the ICP ecosystem, can I attend?</h3><p>Absolutely! This hackathon is tailored to attendees who have experience with web3 technologies and are interested in building on ICP for the first time.</p><h3>How many people can be on a team?</h3><p>You can have a team of up to 3 people.</p><h3>Do you pay for the attendees' transportation and/or accommodation costs?</h3><p>Unfortunately, the hackathon organisers are not able to cover travel or other expenses for attendees.</p><h3>Is BUILD on ICP happening in person? Can I take part remotely?</h3><p>It's a hybrid hackathon.</p><p>The office in Lisbon will be accessible throughout the entire duration of the hackathon, providing a space for builders to collaborate and meet each other.</p><p> It will finish with an IRL Showcase event in Lisbon, Portugal on 12th of July, where we will announce the winners.</p><h3>I was selected but can't attend the event, what do I do?</h3><p>Please let us know. Spots are limited and it would be nice if another candidate could go instead.</p><h3>When will the schedule be available?</h3><p>A detailed schedule will be available closer to the event.</p><h3>Will the talks be recorded?</h3><p>Unless the speaker states otherwise, every online talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.</p><h3>Why is the official language English?</h3><p>We have attendees coming from all over the world. English is usually well understood and accepted.
