🔍 Description

Hipshot is an event trading application that uses AI to analyze Twitter posts and automatically trigger user trades when an event occurs.  Hipshot is built to be controllable through tags on Twitter and to directly embed into conversations about trading.

🛠️ How It Works

Core Flow:

1. User defines an event they believe will move the market (e.g., new tariffs on China)

2. User connects one or multiple Twitter accounts that may announce that event (e.g., @realdonaldtrump, @howardlutnick)

3. User pre-sets a trade that should trigger when the event occurs (e.g., short BTC $10K @ 40x leverage)

In the background, the application uses AI to scan all posts from the selected accounts. When it determines that the event announcement (trigger) has taken place, it auto-fires the user's trade.

Social Dynamic

The combination of the event trigger and the accounts followed is public and accessible to anyone who wants to connect their own trade to it.  Hipshots are made to be shared and we let users build their Hipshots directly from their Twitter feed.  They can tag @hipshotapp under any post that articulates a trading strategy and the application will build them a Hipshot for that use case.  @hipshotapp will reply with a link and the user's referral code, keeping Hipshot in the forefront of conversations about trading.

Additionally, the bot will reply to any posts that trigger a Hipshot with details on the amount of money deployed against that event

Design Notes

Working with Hyperliquid is critical in order to access deep liquidity and high leverage to make concentrated short term bets on asset movements driven by Tweets.

We focus on retail traders and use Privy to offer a clean social-sign on experience.  Hipshot's core use case requires executing Hyperliquid trades autonomously on the user's behalf.  We use Privy's Session Signer capability for this and Hyperliquid Builder Codes to earn fees.
