Idea/Problem Statement 

An android platform to provide assistance to doctors and a web console to help managing appointments by receptionist. 

Solution 

Vedanta-app ● Recommends diseases based on symptoms entered ● Recommends medicines for the entered disease ● Virtual referrals, from one doctor to another ● Virtual prescription 

Vedanta-web ● Web console for the receptionist end by which they can schedule appointment for several doctors. ● Send reminders to both doctors and patients about upcoming appointments

Main Features of VEDANTA Recommendation system: 

● Recommends the doctors the possible diseases based on symptoms entered( through ML) 

● Medicine recommendations based on the disease Referral system: 

● Referral to other doctor virtually without any transfer of paperwork, thus reducing manual work and providing secure data storage for Electronic Health Record.
