To wrap up the three weeks of work, the hackathon will end with pitches of your creations. Pitches are composed of two main parts which mostly override one another in the content but have different formats:

Describe the problem you are trying to solve
Currently there is no tool that allows graphically visualizing the Carbon Aware API data.
Describe what your project does exactly in layperson's terms
The application allows the visualization of data for the datacenters registered in the Carbon API Service.
The use of maps and graphs allows us to quickly detect which regions of datacenters have cleaner energy.
Describe how it uses the API/SDK
The application consumes the Carbon API endpoints for today's data, real time and future predictions.
Describe how impactful it might be in terms of CO2 reductions and user reach (an example of low reduction but high reach would be targeting website requests, where a solution could make a very small reduction in CO2 emissions per request, but with millions of requests the impact could be significant. And example of high reduction and low reach would be a chlorine factory, where you might only reach one plant, but that would be enough to cut as many emissions as a few million web requests above.
The proposed solution can guide developers, SRE and dedicated engineers to choose regions where to deploy their projects that have less impact on the environment. In these terms it would mean a low reduction but a great scope if it is available to everyone.
Describe how feasible it is for you to get to a production ready state with a bit of time or prize money; how feasible it would be for others to implement, and how likely it is that they would choose to use your tool if made available
The solution is highly feasible to implement, with only one hosting. If the solution is available from the Green Software Foundation site, it is likely that many people will be able to use it.
Describe what is your vision for how the solution you have started to build in this hackathon could make a difference to the world.
Green awareness begins with small steps. This is one more contribution to a more sustainable world...
