At Ling Pay, we build simple tools to facilitate true P2P blockchain payments (no middlemen, no additional fees), particularly for the tourism economy. P2P payment with blockchain is easy-- users send tokens from one address to another. But, many friction points exist, one of them being that stablecoins for many local currencies do not yet exist. 

Our project is two parts: the Payment Portal (www.lingpay.io) and StablecoinMap (www.stablecoinmap.com). The Payment Portal allows merchants and users to transact in the local currency, while the underlying medium of exchange is USDC/USDT. Our approach is simple, easy-to-use, and requires no additional downloads or registration of accounts. The StablecoinMap allows tourists to easily travel the world using blockchain payments. If using blockchain, tourists can save an aggregate ~5% on travel expenses, as they don't pay bad FX rates or credit card fees.
