In the dynamic Web3 ecosystem, protocols invest in building strong communities but face a challenge: how to verifiably connect the online passion of their members with tangible real-world rewards, such as exclusive merchandise? The reality is that today, giving merch to your fans is like sending a message into the air; it's hard to know who received it on-chain or if that action translates into organic promotion. This limits loyalty and authentic viral marketing.

Our solution is Merch3 Connect, which bridges this gap. We allow Web3 protocols to link each piece of physical merchandise to a unique on-chain attestation on Camp Network. When a community member receives merch, it will come with a code that they will claim on our website. This registers an immutable proof on the Camp Network blockchain, confirming their ownership. Immediately, this activates the earning of an exclusive POAP and offers direct links to share their achievement on key networks like X and Farcaster. It's innovative because it transforms merchandise from a simple object into a verifiable connection point that drives digital identity, loyalty, and organic marketing.

Our market is Web3 protocols and NFT projects looking to deepen their community engagement and optimize their marketing strategies. With the explosive growth of decentralized communities, the need for tools that verifiably connect the physical and digital is more urgent than ever. Merch3, with our existing experience in creating and distributing merch, is positioned to offer this comprehensive solution, leveraging this maturation moment in the Web3 Social space.

In our MVP, we use Solidity for our MerchAttestation smart contract, deployed on the Camp Network testnet. We chose Camp Network because it is the ideal infrastructure for Web3 Social, optimized for engagement and value creation from user data. Its focus on identity and attestations makes it the perfect blockchain for recording proof of merchandise ownership on-chain.

The front-end is built with React/Next.js using Scaffold-ETH, which allowed us to iterate quickly, and wagmi/viem for fluid and secure interaction with the blockchain.

As we at Merch3 already work directly with Web3 protocols, we understand their product and community needs. This unique combination allows us not only to build the technology but also to offer an end-to-end solution, from merch production to on-chain and social integration.
