Dos grandes obstáculos nascem a força e a vontade de os superar - uma força maior que a soma das partes que desafia a criatividade, a disponibilidade e a solidariedade. Os portugueses, quando chamados a lutar por si e pelos seus, nunca desapontaram e, perante um novo inimigo comum, as soluções urgem e os esforços unem-se. É assim que nasce o movimento #tech4COVID19.
Conscientes de que os profissionais de saúde se encontram na linha da frente, pretendemos, através das mais variadas competências envolvidas neste movimento, apoiar e agilizar o combate a esta pandemia. 💪
Em menos de 48h, uma conversa informal entre fundadores de startups tecnológicas portuguesas transformou-se numa equipa de mais de 600 pessoas de 120 empresas diferentes, das mais variadas áreas de atividade, com um objetivo comum: unir o talento português no desenvolvimento de soluções tecnológicas que ajudem a população a ultrapassar o desafio do COVID-19. Neste momento, existem 12 projetos em desenvolvimento, de âmbitos muito diferentes, que muito em breve poderão acompanhar aqui e que dão forma ao propósito deste movimento.

From the great obstacles are born the strength and the will to overcome them - a force greater than the sum of the parts that defies creativity, availability and solidarity. The Portuguese, when called upon to fight for themselves and for their own, never disappointed and, faced with a new common enemy, solutions are urgent and efforts unite. This is how the # tech4COVID19 movement was born.
Aware that health professionals are at the forefront, we intend, through the most varied skills involved in this movement, to support and expedite the fight against this pandemic. 💪.
In less than 48 hours, an informal conversation between founders of Portuguese technological startups became a team of more than 600 people from 120 different companies, from the most varied areas of activity, with a common goal: to unite Portuguese talent in the development of technological solutions that help the population to overcome the challenge of COVID-19. At the moment, there are 12 projects under development, from very different areas, which will soon be able to follow here and which give shape to the purpose of this movement.
