🚀 CAIRO 1.0 General Prize - $28,300

The launch of CAIRO 1.0 unveils a realm of new capabilities. It introduces an improved syntax, inspired by Rust, that not only refines but also simplifies the coding experience. Key features like return statements, mutable variables, and pattern matching are among the standout improvements.

Moreover, CAIRO 1.0 is accompanied by a completely revamped core library that has been reengineered to be more developer-friendly. With the inclusion of features such as arrays, dictionaries, a panic function, integer types, and assertions, this library boosts the clarity and readability of the code. These enhancements streamline the programming process, making it considerably easier and more efficient.

StarkWare, Flowdesk and zkLend are interested in new innovative & high-quality projects that effectively leverage the capabilities of CAIRO 1.0 and its new features.

StarkWare, Flowdesk and zkLend requires all submitted projects to meet the following guidelines:

  1. Originality: Each project submitted must be an original piece of work. We cannot accept any project that violates copyright laws
  2. Innovation and Performance: The projects submitted should be not only innovative, but they also must achieve a score of 70% or above in our evaluation
  3. Deployment: All projects must be deployed on StarkNet in Cairo 1.0

Evaluation criteria:

  1. Functionality: Your solution must work as described and be free of bugs
  2. Innovation: We’re looking for entries that showcase unique ways of utilizing Warp and the Sierra execution environment. The more innovative your project, the better
  3. Potential Impact: How can your project change or improve the Starknet ecosystem? The more significant the potential impact, the better
  4. Quality of Presentation: Clear presentation of your project, including documentation, is vital. Ensure your readme file clearly explains what your project does and how to use it
  5. Completeness: While we appreciate all submissions, those that feel like a complete and polished product will be favoured. This includes sound design, user interface, and user experience
