I'm Paulo, a software engineer turned information security analyst and PhD researcher, from Guimarães, Portugal. Over the last few years I've moved between software development, security analysis and applied research: building data pipelines, evaluation frameworks and intelligent tools at the intersection of artificial intelligence, security and regulatory compliance. Right now I'm doing a PhD on using LLMs to automate security and compliance engineering, and what drives me most today is working with AI agents: designing, orchestrating and stress-testing multi-agent systems against real problems. I'm always hunting for good challenges: hard problems, new domains, and anything where AI and cybersecurity meet.
