Lisbon DAO Hackathon is a legal and tech hackathon organised by Lisbon DAO Observatory in collaboration with TAIKAI, AstroDAO and Dcentral Lab. This Hackathon is a call to the legal and tech communities to join forces to solve challenges that will require sharp legal and tech thinking, drawing broader conclusions about DAOs, their organisation, their purpose and their current and future legal status.
Each team must have between 3-10 members and must be composed of at least one member with a tech background and another member with a legal background.
As for the legal background, everyone is welcome, from students to qualified lawyers and academics! The only recommended requirement is for students to be at least in the last year of their degree. Besides that, what matters is your potential and your passion for law and/or technology, no matter your level of experience.
Lisbon DAO Hackathon is free for all participants.

Of course. The password will be shared in the event.
The main activity is, of course, the legal and tech challenges, where your team works on a solution during the event and presents it on stage on the second and final day. While the jury is evaluating the solutions, there will be some Talks that will be announced closer to the event.
English is the official language, yes, but it's optional for participants and speakers. If you're not comfortable (enough) with delivering a talk in english, you can choose to deliver it in Portuguese instead. You could also choose Klingon, or Goa'uld, but it makes sense to choose a language that at least a few people in the audience would be able to understand… ;)
