Biography
Joana studied Biomedical Engineering at Porto University. She started her career in Research at Fraunhofer Portugal in the field of Machine Learning and Time Series Analysis for developing assistive technology for elderly and chronic patients. After 8 years in Research, she joined Continental, in 2021, as a Data Science in the Applied Analytics & AI team, to foster the application of Machine Learning and Computer Vision in the manufacturing area.
