<h2>Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams: </h2><ul><li>1st place gets a go-to-market strategy and €2,500 in stablecoins (total value of €12,500)</li><li>2nd place gets a PR campaign and €1,500 in stablecoins (total value of €6,500)</li><li>3d place gets €1,000 in stablecoins</li></ul><p>Prizes will be announced on the Showcase day on the 18th of March and winners will be awarded within 2 weeks of the announcement. <h2>What is Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon?</h2><p>It’s a hybrid hackathon focussed on ICP community. It is organised in the crypto capital of Europe - Lisbon for the best builders to create truly disruptive projects. It will take place from 11th of March to 18th March. First part of the program is online. It will finish with an intense hacking weekend (15th - 17th March) and a showcase event (on the 18th March) at the ICP Lisbon office. </p><h2>Who can attend Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon?</h2><p>Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon is targeted at creative minds with a hacker spirit (in the classical definition of the word). Anyone with a technical profile is welcome to apply, not only engineers (eg. web designers are welcome too).</p><h2>How are applicants selected?</h2><p>Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon curators aim at selecting the best, most participative and motivated, programmers and creatives. For this they rely on what candidates fill in their profiles (their pitches and personal bios). CVs don't matter, please don't paste full CVs as an application pitch. What matters is your potential, experience and your passion for technology.</p><h2>How much does it cost?</h2><p>Build on ICP Portugal Hackathon is free for all selected candidates.</p><h2>I am new to the ICP ecosystem, can I attend?</h2><p>Absolutely! This hackathon is tailored to attendees who have experience with web3 technologies and are interested in building on ICP for the first time.</p><h2>How many people can be on a team?</h2><p>You can have a team of up to 3 people.</p><h2>Do you pay for the attendees' transportation and/or accommodation costs?</h2><p>Unfortunately, the hackathon organisers are not able to cover travel or other expenses for attendees.</p><h2>Is BUILD on ICP happening in person? Can I take part remotely?</h2><p>There will be teh announcement party on 26th of February in Lisbon. The first part of the hackathon is online (from 11th Mar - 15th Mar). It will finish with an intense hacking weekend (15th - 17th March) and a showcase event (on the 18th March) in the ICP Lisbon office. Teams need to be at the venue during the hacking weekend and the showcase event on 18th March.</p><h2>I was selected but can't attend the event, what do I do?</h2><p>Please let us know. Spots are limited and it would be nice if another candidate could go instead.</p><h2>When will the schedule be available?</h2><p>A detailed schedule will be available closer to the event, on our website</p><h2>Will the talks be recorded?</h2><p>Unless the speaker states otherwise, every online talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.</p><h2>Why is the official language English?</h2><p>Although most of our participants are from Portugal, we have attendees coming from all over the world. English is usually well understood and accepted.
