<h2>iBuild Online Hackathon by iExec</h2><p>iExec offers builders a platform to build, deploy, and monetize decentralized applications. </p><p>Pioneering Web3 since 2017, iExec stands out as a one-of-a-kind protocol, seamlessly integrating blockchain, confidential computing for data privacy, and monetization mechanisms.</p><p><br /></p><h2>The Goal</h2><p>The <strong>iBuild Hackathon </strong>will give you hands-on experience with the latest tools to facilitate the interactions between dApps with Web3 users and real-world data.</p><ul><li>With the <strong>DataProtector tool</strong>, users can grant dApps access to their data without revealing the data itself. </li><li>Using the <strong>Web3mail tool</strong>, you can enable dApps to send an email to a registered Ethereum account holder without needing to store or know their email address.</li><li>With the <strong>Oracle Factory tool</strong>, you can create oracles from any API in minutes.</li></ul><p>The best part? These tools can also enable dApps to incorporate monetization features while enhancing data privacy. </p><p><br /></p><h2>Participants Profile</h2><p>iExec is looking for seasoned builders with experience in web development. <h2>What is iExec iBuild Hackathon?</h2><p>iExec iBuild Hackathon is an online event, that will give you hands-on experience with its latest tools to facilitate the interactions between dApps and Web3 users.</p><p><br /></p><h2>Who can attend iExec iBuild Hackathon?</h2><p>iExec iBuild Hackathon is open to anyone with proven web3 experience.</p><p><br /></p><h2>How are applicants selected?</h2><p>iExec iBuild Hackathon curators aim at selecting the best, most participative and motivated, programmers and creatives. For this they rely on what candidates fill in their registration forms. CVs don't matter, please don't paste full CVs as an application pitch. Once you have been selected to participate in the hackathon, on April 2nd you’ll be automatically whitelisted using the wallet address you provided to TAIKAI.</p><p><br /></p><h3>🟡 Tracks </h3><p><strong>Data Privacy and Monetization Track </strong></p><p><u>Option 1: An Emailing-Notification dApp</u></p><p>A dApp that fetches on-chain user data (in DeFi for example) and facilitates communication between the owner of an Ethereum address and projects, protocols, or other individuals through Web3Mail.</p><p><br /></p><p><u>Option 2: A Web3 Survey Platform</u></p><p>A dApp that uses iExec's DataProtector and Web3Mail tools to enable users to participate and earn rewards by completing surveys or tasks sent by third parties, in a similar fashion to web2 sites like Swagbucks and Ipsos iSay. </p><p>DataProtector will be used for the creation and management of secure and encrypted files that store personal data, such as email addresses. Web3Mail should be used to facilitate the sending of surveys to users without revealing their personal data. Additionally, it will require a receiver pool categorization too allow other protocols to contact holders, based on the assets held, without directly accessing the personal data of receivers.</p><p>The app should also include a monetization model that rewards receivers when their data pool is accessed. This would facilitate data monetization while maintaining privacy and decentralized identity. Receiver pools should be categorized based on the assets held by receivers. (For example: I launch a DeFi project and I want to send an email to $AAVE holders that are in the DeFi pool).</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Oracle Track  </strong></p><p>A Global Events Prediction Market (ex. upcoming US elections, Sport Events like Olympic Games…) .
