Fe Hackathon @ Devconnect Istanbul

The Fe team is excited to host a workshop and hackathon to foster innovation and demonstrate the capabilities of the Fe language. We kick things off with an introduction level Fe workshop so that everyone will be up and ready to participate in the hackathon. Everyone is welcome!

When & Where

Wednesday, November 15th 10:00 - 17:00
Istanbul Congress Center, Room Çamlica (Maps)

After November 15th the event continues as a virtual event until November 18th (see "Important Dates" below)

Theme

We will have two tracks for the hackathon:

Library track

Projects submitted to the library track can take any form of Fe general purpose libraries covering functionality such as math, cryptography, debugging, testing or alike.

Application track

Projects submitted to the application track can be anything written in Fe from financial applications to games and anything in between!

Deliverables

The submission must consist of:

• Project / Team name
• 2 line description about the project
• Team's person of contact (Discord, Signal, WhatsApp or Telegram user)
• Repository with project’s code
• Documentation that supports jurors running and testing the code

Judging Criteria

• Technicality
  • How hard was the project to build? 
  • How well does the project leverage the Fe language (Modules, Traits etc)?
• Originality
  • How original is the project? 
  • Is this something completely new or are there other existing instances (e.g a rewrite from Solidity to Fe)
• Innovation & Practicability
  • Ho innovative is the project?
  • How useful is this submission in the real world?
