AmsterBased BLIP (Baseline Improvement Proposal) Bounty Hunt is a "hackathon" style event, where developers can form or join groups to work on BLIPs.
This event is open to any developer interested in getting involved in the Baseline Protocol community. Participants can join at any point within the timeframe of the event. They can form a group, or tackle a bounty solo.
AmsterBased BLIP Bounty Hunt is free for anyone interested.
No. Candidates must register and apply individually (they are evaluated and selected individually too, see above).
Yes, the in person event taking place in Amsterdam will be livestreamed. The feed will be focused on the activities taking place on the main stage, such as speakers.
Unless the speaker states otherwise, every talk will be recorded and available online in the weeks following the event.
We have attendees coming from all over the world. English is usually well understood and accepted. Our main motivation is technology and sharing information about the Baseline Protocol, and these are global attributes, so our main 'language' is what we use to code. The standard and all documentation is written in English, making it our official language.
The answer is, there can be! It is up to participants (and/or their teams) to select a BLIP, outline a plan and scope of work, and submit a grant here for the amount they would like to receive.
