Hello!

My name is André Pereira and I'm a Designer, Visual Artist and Teacher, residing in the sunny southern Portugal. I'm passionate about all forms of visual storytelling.

Born and raised in the southern coast of the country, I grew up accompanied by various forms of art, from painting, to music… And videogames. Academics took me to Faro and Universidade do Algarve to study Communication Design, finishing my degree in 2008. From there on, after specializing in Illustration at ETIC_Algarve and studying with artists like Tiago da Silva, I started dabbing in the dark arts of Videogame creation, which ultimately led to the Anibaké project, which was announced winner at Biodroid Zone's videogame pitch contest in 2012.

Since 2014 I've worked at ETIC_Algarve as a visual content creator and tutor for training in the fields of Design and Videogames, making this a pioneer school in the south in the fields of digital entertainment contents.
