Relevant to this hackathon is the development of the NMMC solution (Network Maintenance Management Center), a custom software suite that has been in continuous use for over a decade by a major non-EU telecommunications carrier. The system supports a telecom network comprising hundreds of sites distributed across a geographic area comparable in size to Europe, demonstrating high scalability and long-term reliability.
