🌊 The problem: Floods affect everywhere, including the Netherlands

Floods are among the most frequent and most costly natural disasters every year. Furthermore, the changing climate implies higher risk from these natural calamities. This is best highlighted by the West Germany flood of 2021, which also affected parts of Belgium and Maastricht in the Netherlands

🛰️ The project: Earth Observations + AI
In this project, I want to implement a flood monitoring and prediction system, using earth observations and machine learning.

🤝 Team Formation
I would love to form a team, ideally with: 
i. Programming/AI specialist 
ii. Business development specialist 
iii. Something like a UI/UX developer/web developer/etc could be an advantage

🚀 EU Space Technologies
Surface water and ocean topography mission jointly launched by NASA and CNES (French Space Agency)
