Safe Send

Safe Send is a decentralised payment gateway that makes it easy and safe for businesses to accept crypto on Aleph Zero. By utilising a chequeing mechanism, send/collect, it makes crypto payments forgiving enough for mass adoption.

Safe Send also integrates AZERO.ID, to provide an optional, extra layer of protection. It does this by verifying that the recipient's wallet matches the provided AZERO.ID.

Safe Send is designed to fit into modern e-commerce workflows.

• DEGEN/DEFI: It fits into the decentralised finance category as its core features implement a decentralised chequeing system.
• DID: It fits into the DID category as it integrates AZERO.ID as a checking mechanism both on a front end and smart contract level. The smart contract checks that the recipient's wallet address matches the AZERO.ID if provided.
• TOOLING AND INFRASTRUCTURE: It fits into the tooling and infrastructure section as it can be used by other smart contracts to acquire tokens from users. This will eliminate the need for every smart contract to implement their own functions for acquiring tokens via an allowance and transfer-from mechanism. This will drastically reduce development time and safety.
• TELCO: It fits into the telco category for several reasons. One is the requirement for telco companies to be able to reliably accept payments from their users. The other is that for digital payments, which reached an estimated $9.46 trillion in 2023, 49% of e-commerce happened through digital/mobile wallets!
