VARA Colors is an experimental project where users can mint and create their own NFTs while their attributes are fully stored on-chain.
This project, at the intersection of generative art and decentralization, had been created in order to highlight VARA Network capabilities.
The NFT collection is deployed on VARA testnet.
Each NFT is 100% unique and stored on-chain. There is no need for json metadata as all the attributes can be directly displayed through the program's state.
The program is made using Rust leveraging the gNFT standard.
Each Vara Color NFT is made of:
Client: Vue, Nuxt, TailwindCSS
Server: Node, Vercel
Blockchain: Gear-js, Vara staging network
Create the proof-of-concept ✅
Fix the problem with webpack, Nuxt and gear-api on Vercel (cf github, #Optimizations)
Deploy contract on VARA Network (main-net)
Add a gallery of Vara Colors already mined
Transform the collection into a DAO: the VARA collected will go to secure the chain, and the rewards will be passed on to the NFT holders, in proportion to those they own.
The collected VARA tokens will be staked to secure the protocol, enhancing the stability and security of the network. Staking rewards will then be distributed among NFT holders in a fully decentralized manner, ensuring transparency and fairness. By integrating NFT creation with protocol security, VARA Colors offers a unique and engaging way for users to participate in and benefit from blockchain technology.
