Hacker teams are made up of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 people 👥. At least half of your Team needs to be at the venue to be judged ‼️

⏰ The submission deadline is October 31th at 3pm WEST (Portugal Time) ⏰

1. Hacking Rules 🔨

• womenhack is primarily happening IRL. Hackers can only participate remotely if at least 50% of their team is at present at the venue to be judged in person.
• As this is a womxn focused hackathon, teams have to have not more than 50% men in the team
• You cannot use another team's source code
• The decision of judges is final for determining prizes and awards
• Please comply with all instructions from womenhack organizers
• Projects must involve writing significant software
• All code for projects must be written during the event
• All participants must hold a valid Eventbrite ticket for womenhack for their submission to be considered.
• Please respect our Code of Conduct
• Hacker Teams must have minimum 2 members and maximum 5 members 
• Participation in the hackathon is under the conditions of: being any person on legal age

2. Deliverables for the Submission

• Project / Team name
• 2 line description about the project
• 1 Discord user name for the team’s person of contact (Join discord here)https://discord.gg/C82wnEseQc
• Repository with project’s code
• Presentation (10 slides max)/video demo (3 minutes)
• The contract address(es) or website URLs of your deployed application, either on a testnet of your choice or mainnet of a platform of choice. 📂📂 (NOT mandatory)
• All submitted projects will be eligible for the main hackathon prize. 💵💵

At least half of your team needs to be at the venue to be judged; no online submissions. Don’t miss the deadline! 31st October,  3PM ❗❗❗❗

3. Rules on Pre-existing Work

Each hack submission will be judged solely on the quality of the work completed during the duration of the hackathon. If you use pre-existing code in your project, you need to disclose all information in your submission. 

If, upon inspection, you present work that appears to have been completed before the hackathon began that you did not disclose, you will need to explicitly point out how your new work differs from old work. 

NOTE: Historically, projects that use a majority of pre-existing work do not score as high in the judging as projects which present wholly new and novel approaches - the whole point of this hackathon is to create.
