👋 Hey! Wanna know a little bit about me? Let's start from the beginning.
I built my first website more than 27 years ago, just a couple of months after turning five years old.
Since then, I knew I wanted to build cool stuff. So, first I decided that I wanted to become an Architect and then spent my teens reading all of the architecture and design books in my local library while prototyping villas and holiday houses that I copied from architecture magazines. But then in high school, I realized that houses and buildings were not enough for me when I learned about Design through the history of the Arts and Crafts movement. I understood that it was possible for me to Design all of the things. Then naturally, I graduated in Industrial Design from one of the best Design schools in Europe which just lead to me realizing that there was no real market for an Industrial Designer after all. And also, now that I think about it, that there were already too many physical products in this world.
So I started doing Web Design as a freelancer and then as an employee for a couple of years until I realised that I'm much happier when I'm my own boss and therefore I had to start my own business. I’ve been doing full-on UX Design for the past 8 years, doing Research, Strategy, Design, and Testing to help all kinds of organizations around the world and in a lot of different industries to build products that their Users love.
In the last couple of years, I realized that what I really like is to inspire, train, support and mentor Designers (and non-designers transitioning to the field as well) by doing actual real projects with them and basically "forcing" them to grow out of their molds.
After all these years and all these labels, and after a heavy dose of self-reflection as well, I now label myself with the big mouthful of: Designer Designing Designers.
