I am a versatile Ruby on Rails developer with a passion for problem-solving and a strong background in computer science. With over 5 years of experience at Portugal Telecom, I honed my skills in database performance tuning and data extraction using Ruby and JRuby. I also gained expertise in real-time data processing with the Esper framework, effectively triggering alarms based on specific conditions.

In 2013, I relocated to London and joined Tesco PLC's Supply Chain department, where I contributed to their projects. Later, at We Are Friday, I had the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for HSBC. Most recently, I worked as a developer for Microsoft, focusing on the Skype in the Classroom website. During this period, I had the privilege of taking the lead on various tasks, demonstrating my ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

One of my most notable achievements was being part of a task-force responsible for building the Covid-19 Contact Tracing app in the UK. As a team lead, I ensured smooth collaboration and played a pivotal role in delivering this crucial solution.
