I was a student in the Master in Informatics Engineering of the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra and currently I’m PhD student from Doctoral Program in Information Science and Technology from University of Coimbra. For the past 5 years I’m doing research work as research fellow as part of the international XENON collaboration (http://xenon.fis.uc.pt/) that aims to build the most sensitive dark matter detector (in an underground laboratory in Italy - LNGS). The collaboration integrates more than 160 researchers from 21 internationally renowned universities and institutes.
In this collaboration I participate in several tasks, among which the development of the control system (Slow Control) and instrumentation of the experience and I have responsibilities for the operational management of the control infrastructure and the responsibility for developing some control modules.
The research work as research fellow developed in the collaboration give-me a very relevant record of publications (19 publications https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1554-9579) for which I contributed and are also the result of my operational experience.
In 2018 I have worked as an Invited Assistant Professor in Coimbra Institute of Engineering (ISEC) where I lectured electronics for the bachelor degree in informatics engineering.
