Luiz Almeida is a Brazillian researcher that holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering at Faculdade deEngenharia de Sorocaba (FACENS). He was an intern at Schaeffler Group during his undergrad studies,working with continuous improvement and KAIZEN activities. Besides, he holds a post-graduation inAdministration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a Master's Degree in Energy for Sustainability at theUniversity of Coimbra (UC). As the topic of his Master's Dissertation, he developed a study applying amulticriteria methodology for studying consumers' acceptance of different automotive powertraintechnologies in a multi-country context. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems atUC, and his research interests are related to Electric Mobility and Renewable Energies. Also, Luiz Almeida is amember of the IEEE Student Branch (SB) of UC and Vice-chair of the Power and Energy Society chapter of thereferred SB, engaged in sustainability-related events and sustainable entrepreneurism activities as a volunteer.Such actions disseminate knowledge that highly impacts the importance of a greener planet and drive thesociety to promote vital behaviours, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Agenda.
