I am a native of Poprad, and I have been involved in technology since I was a child.
As a young man, I specialized mainly in electronics technology, but eventually, I got
into the IT field. I’m a fan of Linux and OpenSource projects. I like working in an
environment that forces me to learn new things all the time. I completed
my Ph.D. studies in the field of Telecommunications. My area of interest is image
processing (C++, Qt, OpenCV, PCL, Neural Networks). In my dissertation work, I
focused on the 3D reconstruction of data obtained from a multi-camera system us-
ing depth optical sensors. During my research, I tried to apply and use modern tools
that are also applied in the commercial sphere. This work was very broadly focused,
with several outputs (web applications, embedded software, Qt application, etc. ).
During my studies, I worked as a DevOps engineer, where I carried out the integration of software with medical equipment. I mostly worked with Jenkins and Docker
tools, but I have experience with several CI tools. I was responsible for the compatibility of the building environment and adaptation with the new tools/libraries. I
mostly used Bash and Python for scripting and Docker Swarm. I also worked with Yocto and e2factory cross-compilation building systems.
