Cadastral Engineering and Geodesy has a very wide field of action, therefore it is important to bear in mind the duty that engineering has in providing support in the corresponding development of society. Having an optimal knowledge of our territory is key to be able to contribute to the construction of schemes that allow a significant improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of the national territory.

I graduated from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in 2017 with a thesis entitled "Analysis of Soil Loss in the Middle and Upper Basins of the San Pedro River in Puerto Libertador, Córdoba; with the purpose of implementing alternatives for the conservation of water resources", where I applied the necessary tools that allowed me to identify and analyze the changes in land use and land cover in the middle and upper basins of the San Pedro River (Puerto Libertador Córdoba) through a multi-temporal analysis of the study area, identifying areas of deforestation and making recommendations for the presentation of vegetation cover that helped to maintain the ecosystem around the basin.

Subsequently, in my professional career I have been able to complement and develop a series of skills and knowledge in:

Appraisal processes in the study of private real estate, property for mortgage purposes (for banks), and public and fiscal administration under the administration of the municipality of Medellin Antioquia.

Techniques of analysis and study of properties to determine the legal, physical and fiscal nature of the same and the conditions in which they were found.  

Management of alphanumeric and geographic databases for the maintenance of cadastral management in the municipality of Fusagasugá Cundinamarca.

Coordination of the working group in the area of property survey for the administration and maintenance of real estate owned by the Mayor's Office of Medellín. 

Land formalisation processes for rural property in priority territories in the area of management of Geographic Information Systems, study of titles and support in the property analysis of real estate in the municipalities of Planadas in the department of Tolima. 

Property recognition to support the processes inherent to cadastral management and the formalisation of rural land ownership in different areas of the country.

From the achievements made during more than five years of experience, I am looking forward to increase my knowledge in the handling of tools for the study of the land and I hope to work in various areas applied in engineering.
