2. Summary

Cryptomecenas is an art gallery for the sale of dynamic NFTs and tokens, the proceeds of which are used for investments in research and projects across four main axes, promoting social impact, historical reparation, and the democratization of information. This project consists of one set of dynamic NFTs built on the Scroll testnet, with prices adjusted based on prediction market datafeeds. Additionally, the project includes a collection of 1000 ERC20 Tokens (CryptomecenasCoin), also deployed on the Scroll testnet.

2.1 Description

The project incorporates a cutting-edge blockchain strategy to ensure transparency, security, and innovation in its operations. Leveraging the Scroll testnet, the project tokenizes assets using dynamic NFTs, whose prices are intelligently adjusted based on prediction market datafeeds. This dynamic pricing mechanism adds a layer of responsiveness to market fluctuations, enhancing the investment potential of the NFTs.

The NFT art gallery serves as a fundraising and investment platform dedicated to research and projects addressing social, historical, and cultural issues. By connecting investors with impactful projects, the initiative mobilizes financial resources for initiatives aiming to bring about positive societal change.

2.2 Blockchain Strategy:

The project incorporates a dynamic blockchain strategy by leveraging the Scroll testnet to tokenize assets, specifically utilizing dynamic NFTs whose prices are adjusted based on prediction market datafeeds. Additionally, the project introduces a collection of 1000 ERC20 Tokens (CryptomecenasCoin) deployed on the Scroll testnet. This blockchain integration ensures transparency, security, and traceability in fundraising, investment, and the preservation of cultural heritage assets.

This axis fosters research on Afrofuturist fashion as a tool for historical reparation and cultural expression, emphasizing its significance in constructing beauty, identity, belonging, and connection with African or Afro-diasporic ancestries.The project aims to promote the transformative role of Afrofuturist fashion in reconstructing historical narratives, promoting new mindsets and the inclusion of traditional peoples in the WEB3.

2.3.2 Axis 2: ReFi - Environmental Regenerative Crypto

This axis encourages research in regenerative finance to promote responsible cryptocurrency use for the environment. Inspired by ancestral wisdom, we seek to connect cryptocurrency technology with environmental practices that regenerate ecosystems and promote forest conservation.Our  platform drives research and funding for projects that promote profitability from the conservation of forests, oceans and rivers.

2.3.3 Axis 3: DeFi - Decentralized Finance

This axis fosters DeFi research for collaboration in studies and enables project execution. By offering research grants to support studies on different aspects of DeFi and creating incentives for DeFi research publication, we establish partnerships with traditional peoples and social institutions to promote education and research. Highlighting how DeFi research drives innovation and sustainable development.

2.3.4 Axis 4: Rescue, Study, and Preservation of Cultural Heritage

This axis fosters the research of the rescue, study and preservation of cultural and material heritage. Furthermore, it contributes to preservation through the digitalization and tokenization of historical and cultural objects, sites and practices.

4. Challenges 

The challenges faced in undertaking these projects include the lack of investment in relevant research for society, especially considering the complexity and impact of the proposed avenues. This can result in difficulties in obtaining the necessary resources to conduct in-depth studies, perform case analyses, and interviews with professionals and Afro-descendant communities, explore the connection between cryptocurrencies and regenerative environmental practices, and foster research and collaboration in DeFi. Additionally, the lack of recognition of the importance of these areas can limit institutional support and public awareness of the benefits of such initiatives for society and the environment.

Together, we've immersed ourselves in understanding concepts like NFTs, blockchain, programming, cryptocurrencies, and sustainable research strategies. We've envisioned innovative approaches to artistic creation, distribution, and valuation, while also recognizing the importance of blockchain for enhancing transparency, security, and efficiency in project management and funding. 6. What are we proud of

As a team, we are immensely proud of our accomplishments in co-creating and developing a project in the Web3 space. Through dedicated effort and perseverance, we successfully navigated the intricacies of various programming tools and languages essential for our business plan. Our journey was marked by two days of intense immersion, where we collaborated closely within a collective of passionate women united by a common desire and mission to positively impact society through education, research, economics, the environment, and fashion. This experience has been both enriching and inspiring for all of us.

Furthermore, we take pride in the tangible outcomes of our efforts, including the publication of front-end code from scratch and the development of six NFTs during the event, each showcasing unique and compelling artwork. Additionally, we successfully deployed two main smart contracts on the scroll testnet, laying the foundation for our project's technical infrastructure. Looking ahead, we have meticulously planned the next steps of our initiative, which include integrating Chainlink and refining our business model. Together, these achievements reflect our team's dedication, creativity, and unwavering commitment to driving meaningful change in the Web3 space and beyond.
