I hold a Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering, from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

Between 2009 and 2018 I lived and worked in Cambridge, UK. During my first five years in the UK I worked at UNEP-WCMC an executive agency of the United Nations Environment Programme, starting as a Web Developer and later as an Analyst Developer. During this period my enthusiasm for building web applications that have a direct and positive impact in our planet grew.

At the end of 2014 I joined Vizzuality, a data design agency focused in telling important stories with beautiful, scientifically accurate and inspiring data visualisations. At Vizzuality I work as a Project Manager, leading a team of designers, developers, data scientists and social scientists in the development of several projects in the fields of biodiversity and conservation, transparency and social development.

In 2017 I helped open a Vizzuality office in Porto. Since 2018 I am based in this office and am helping build our team here.
