The TL;DR of my life is that I'm a Biomedical Engineer currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Biology (software development for biologists) at the University of Manchester, UK.

The slightly longer version will let you know that I'm from Coimbra, Portugal, where I studied up until 2016 when I moved to the UK (yes, after Brexit and yes, there is a LOT of uncertainty involved in my future currently). For my PhD, I've developed a software for specific image analysis where I'm interested in knowing why certain things occur inside neurons in diseases like Alzheimer's.

I'm an avid book reader (with a growing personal library and I'll gladly talk about books for as long as you'll hear me) and gaming runs in my blood.
