João Sil is Bright Pixel Development Studio’s CTO.João has over twenty years of experience in the Web industry contributing to the development of technically challenging and innovative products, ranging from media portals, classifieds and e-commerce platforms, photo and video streaming services, fintech applications and a plethora of backend architecture solutions.

With a passion for people and culture, finds in leading and mentoring highly skilled and talented teams the most rewarding experience. His best relaxing moments are in front of a terminal and, to him, debugging is the 8th art.

Before joining Bright Pixel, João was engineering director of a global, internet, classifieds company and CTO of the leading Portuguese internet portal, SAPO - part of one of the major Portuguese telecommunications operators.

Graduated from the University of Coimbra in Electrical Engineering.Passionate about technology. Inspired by curious people.
