I am an environmental expert with 27 years of experience in nature conservation, rural development, environmental policy making, Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment. In addition, I have strong experience with evaluation of various programmes.

I use a lot of data at my work, however I never scaled my knowledge to use big data analysis. My skills are limited to Excel and QGIS for GIS data. However, my strength is the broad knowledge of environmental issues, their interconnections and the effect of policies on them. I have dealt with topics such as habitat conservation, paths of migratory species, urban development, river basin management, transport issues and transport multimodality, tourism development, fisheries and marine environment. I am keen to support developers, coders, marketing experts who have technical skills in these fields; my motivation in to get to understand how to use the data and structure the technical work to get to the desired results.

In my free time, I am an avid hiker (I am a licensed mountain guide) and a cyclist (fairly beginner grade). I love watching sports such as cycling and basketball. My brother was an olympic-grade rower, so I have some experience with watching the organisation of sports events from a bit closer than usual fans. I love to travel and for me the biggest issue is how to ensure sustainable levels of tourism in today's instagrammable connected world.
