## The problem

In Vietnam's northern mountains, many ethnic minority women make beautiful handmade crafts, such as brocade, indigo-dyed textiles and bamboo goods. Most of them sell to middlemen at very low prices. They cannot write product descriptions, do not speak English, and do not know how to price their work online.

## Our solution

ArtisanLens is an AI assistant built for craft cooperatives that support these artisans.

- **Snap a photo:** a Vision Agent identifies the product, material, pattern and technique.

- **Answer a few questions:** an Interview Agent chats with the artisan in the language they are comfortable with. It asks how long the piece took, its size and the meaning of the pattern.

- **Get a ready-to-sell listing:** a Listing Agent writes the product description in Vietnamese, English and other languages. The description tells the cultural story behind the design and suggests a fair price based on the work involved and similar products.

- **Human in the loop:** cooperative volunteers review every listing before it is published, so cultural details stay accurate and respectful.
