Problem Statement

The NPO e-work-Ehime operates food bank and children's cafeteria programs. There are many kinds of challenges such as budget and staffing shortages, especially, two issues stand out;

 1. Insufficient food procurement for the food bank program

 2. Inefficient distribution of collected food from the food bank to children's cafeterias.

Therefore, we will build an traceability application centered around a Thank you message feature which connects the senders and the children to resolve issues 1 and 2.

Use case description

1. Thanks System

When recipients (e.g., cafeteria staff, children) register a thank-you message, it reaches the food provider. This motivates providers to continue their activities and encourages repeat donations. Repeat donations help stabilize and increase procurement volumes.

2. AI Food Assessment Function

 AI determines whether ingredients offered by providers are acceptable or unacceptable on their behalf.

3. Optimal Distribution Function

The AI selects the necessary food for children's cafeterias. When a staff at the cafeteria asks the AI about the food menu, the AI determines the ingredients needed for the menu.
